Era Lee: 8 months

2 teeth! That's right. You have 2 little bottom teeth peeking through this month. You won't let me catch a picture of them though.

You are trying to expand your vocabulary. New words are "va va va" and "ba ba ba". You are standing great as long as you are holding on to something.

Your brother Jonah fell in the bath tub and busted his chin wide open! That made for quite a BooBoo.

You said your first words! Mama and Dada. You like saying "dada" the best, but I did hear a few "Mamas" this month. Jan 4th was the first time you just outright said it! You are sitting well on your own: no propping needed!

Oh. My. Goodness. You are already 1/2 a year old!

Bottle: You are still breastfed, but take one 6oz bottle at night.

A LOT has happened this month! First off, your big brothers turned 4 November 20th! Then we started the Holiday season. Thanksgiving in Huntsville, Ashland, and Cullman. You seemed to enjoy being held and sleeping through most of it. You took a bath in MawMaws kitchen sink. We took Christmas pictures at BooBoos house because your mama is too cheap to pay a professional. Now we are gearing up for your first Christmas!

You have found your toes and you think they are the best chew toys ever! You still hate tummy time. You love your Bumbo seat, baby swing and bouncy seat, but neither one for too long. You LOVE to be held and I oblige you every chance I get! You've started playing with toys and your favorite are a monkey rattle and a Winnue the Pooh teether. You also love a little bunny blanket to chew on. Your muslin Aden & Anais blankets are your favorite (and mine too!) to just grab and cuddle with.

When you have a bottle, it's about 6-8 ozs.
You are sitting up better. You still love to eat All. Night. Long. You had your first Halloween but slept through it! We went to Heritage day and your first car show! It's been a busy month!

Weight: 13lbs 1oz
Height: 25 and 3/4 in
Size 1 diapers
Size 3-6 month clothes

You love to smile and laugh! You can sit up pretty well when propped. You hate tummy time, even though Mommy insists that you have it. You had your first taste of cereal and you seemed to like it.

Weight: I'm guessing about 10.5lbs. You're still a little booger!
Height: ?? But you sure seem long.
Clothes: Size 0-3, and a few 3-6.

What's Happening?
You still love your brothers and they still love you (for now!).
We had you're baby dedication at our church FBC Ashland on August 26th. Most of our family was in attendance. Then we had a cook-out at BooBoo's house in Ashland for everyone after the dedication service.
We had an extremely FAILED attempt at camping. Don't worry. We'll try again later.
You had your first trip to the zoo. After our miserable escapade camping, we decided to make up for it by going to the Montgomery Zoo. It was a much better experience!
We've been picnicing SEVERAL times, where you watched your Brothers play on the playground.
Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary.
And several more things, which I can't seem to remember at this time.

You still eat every 2-3 hours and sleep fairly well in between.


What has happened this month?
You are smiling and laughing!

You love your big brothers and they love you!
You hate the hiccups and you get them quite often
The 30th Summer Olympic Games were held in London and we watched it most everyday. The next time we watch the opening ceremonies together will be in 2016 and you will be 4 years old (OUCH!!) and your brothers will be starting the 2nd grade (**tear shed**).
We've had more cook-outs at Uncle Nick's barn.
Mommy went back to work a few days (** more tears**)
